President and Chief Financial Officer, EnLink Midstream Partners, L.P.

Michael J. Garberding is President and Chief Financial Officer of EnLink Midstream. Previously, Garberding held several positions with EnLink Midstream’s predecessor, Crosstex Energy, including executive vice president and chief financial officer, as well as senior vice president of business development and finance before that.

He has more than 20 years of financial and accounting experience in the energy industry. Prior to joining Crosstex in 2008, Garberding was assistant treasurer at TXU Corp., where he focused on structured transactions such as project financing for coal plant development and the sale of TXU Gas Company. He also was involved in the $45 billion sale of TXU Corp. to a group of private buyers led by KKR, Goldman Sachs and TPG.

Previously, Garberding was a member of several structured commodity, derivative and project finance teams when he worked for Enron North America as a finance manager. He also was an audit manager at Arthur Andersen LLP. Garberding earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Texas A&M University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Michigan. He is a board member and Treasurer of the Master Limited Partnership Association.
